Counted cross stitch

What is Cross-Stitch?

In this section, you will find cross-stitch embroidery kits, also known as counted stitch embroidery—stitching over the intersection of two warp threads and two weft threads. As the name suggests, the stitch is formed by two diagonal lines that cross each other.

Counted Stitch

Counted stitch means that the fabric is blank (not printed), and the stitches are counted by referring to the chart (a diagram composed of symbols, where each symbol corresponds to a color or a blend of colors). Cross-stitch is probably one of the most well-known counted stitches in the field of embroidery.
